Following its World Premiere at London Film Festival this autumn, Hurricane Films’ latest collaboration with writer Frank Cottrell Boyce and director Carl Hunter is now set for an Early 2019 release in the UK.
The film was well received at the Festival, with Peter Bradshaw of The Guardian saying in his 4* Review: “This film is a distinct, articulate pleasure” and calling the film ‘spellbinding’.
‘Sometimes Always Never’ stars Bill Nighy as Alan, a stylish tailor with moves as sharp as his suits. He has spent years searching tirelessly for his missing son Michael who stormed out over a game of Scrabble. With a body to identify and his family torn apart, Alan must repair the relationship with his youngest son Peter and solve the mystery of an online player who he thinks could be Michael, so he can finally move on and reunite his family.
The cast also includes Sam Riley, Alice Lowe, Tim McInnerny and Jenny Agutter, with music by acclaimed songwriter Edwyn Collins. Further international release dates will be announced in the future.
When will it be released in the US? Thank you.
