Written & Directed by DW Mault
Produced by Sol Papadopoulos

Two men in a bar talking about lists: cool, hit and babe. Who are they? Where do they come from? Are they in fact the same person arguing with themselves?

A metaphysical puzzle wrapped in a conundrum that focuses on the duality of an individual on the verge of a break-up with his girlfriend.

‘LIST³’ has screened at Darklight and Foyle International Film Festivals in Ireland, at a special British Council Exhibition in Sao Paulo and KINOFILM Short Film Festival in Manchester, as well as at a number of regional showcases like Peepshow in London.

  Put Your Coat On
Digital short for New Cinema Fund

Amoré in an anorak. A young girl hits the bright lights of the big city with the words 'Put Your Coat On' ringing in her ears. Her coat is a symbol of her childlike innocence, a protective sheath against a grown up world, a world she suddenly finds herself immersed in when, intoxicated by the night, she decides to discard her coat. A bloodstained coat suggests a tragic end or is this just a love story after all?

"Goodbye"

An homage to the seventies cult classic, The Wicker Man. Dealing with themes of sacrifice and rites of passage (this being the Coral’s launch into the national arena) it represents a departure point, going from seaside scallies to being on the verge of entering the pantheon of rock stardom.

The Coral ‘Goodbye’ video was a commission for Sony’s S2 record label. A 40ft Wicker Man was constructed for the shoot, based on the original drawings of Seamus Flannery (the original production designer of ‘The Wicker man’). Extras turned out in full costume to re-create the pagan cult scenes from the original movie. The video went out as part of the CD Single and was broadcast via the usual outlets, MTV etc.
